916 Pizza

Thank god for 916 Pizza! I grew up outside NYC and have been in California for a long time. Finding good pizza is not easy, but 916 Pizza knows what they are doing! One of the best pizza places I’ve had in all my years in CA. The inside has a cool set up with awesome neon signs. Pizza oven looks like it was sent over from Italy. And one of the owners (Nick) that I met has great customer service. You have to try this Pizza out! And don’t forget the dessert! These moon rocks (pictured) are addicting!

I have been looking for decent pizza here, for a while! I was so happy to stumble across 916 Pizza. The pizza is prepared with attention to detail and care. The gentleman that helped me order and prepared my order was welcoming and kind. The pizza has a great crust with a crunchy exterior and soft interior. I ordered their special which is a like a margarita pizza plus ricotta cheese then polished with fresh black pepper and parm. The ingredients felt very fresh and I am not embarrassed to admit, I ate the whole thing. The restaurant itself is very casual but should not reflect the quality of pizza being made there. I cant wait to return so I can try a white pizza next time!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 916 Pizza, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth writing home about. Located in the heart of Citrus Heights, CA, this locally owned and operated gem is run by two Italian brothers who bring authentic Italian flavors straight to your table. We decided to try two of their pizzas: the Garlic Chicken Pizza and the Carnivore Pizza. Garlic Chicken Pizza: Priced at 12.00 for a small (10”), this pizza features a white garlic sauce, mozzarella, chicken, caramelized onions, and parsley. The garlic parm white sauce was velvety and rich, creating a perfect backdrop for the succulent chicken. The caramelized onions added a touch of sweetness that balanced the bold garlic flavors beautifully. Carnivore Pizza: Also 12.00 for a small (10”), this pizza is a meat lover’s dream. It comes with homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, salami, bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon, and onion. We added basil, which gave it a fresh, aromatic kick. The homemade tomato sauce, made with San Marzano tomatoes, had a depth of flavor that danced on my taste buds, perfectly complementing the hearty mix of meats. Both pizzas boasted a crust that could rival any I’ve had in Italy. It was light, airy, and crunchy with just the right amount of char – a true testament to their craft. Their hand-tossed pizzas are made with the freshest ingredients and prepared with care, ensuring a memorable meal every time. From start to finish, 916 Pizza delivered an authentic and delightful experience. Whether you’re joining them for a quick bite, having a meal with family or friends, or opting for pizza takeout or delivery, 916 Pizza ensures a delicious experience. Wow! Just moved here and was hoping to find my favorite pizza! SUCCESS! Nick and Steven have a creative menu, excellent prices, and top notch service! Hot Honey Rico and Pulled Pork Pizza were amazing. Would give 10 stars!

I did not know about 916 pizza, my daughter and her boyfriend found it. It was very good, my kids loved it (that’s rare) We ate inside and it was very clean and the gentleman was very professional. We had garlic bread, cheese pizza, and an all meat pizza! I will definitely be going back.

This place may be unassuming on the outside but don't let that fool you, it can go toe to toe with the best pizza I've had in California. You can tell they only use high quality ingredients. The gentleman working in there was very kind and explained how their oven had just arrived recently imported from Italy. The crust was perfectly charred, minimal flop and great crisp. The freshly grated Parmesan that was added was the cherry on top. Don't miss out on the place if you're in the area, you won't regret it!

Came here the other day and was pleasantly surprised by everything. The worker that took our order was very nice and ring us up quickly. The prices were very affordable, it was 34 for 2 small pizzas, 2 cans of soda, plus a tip. The margarita pizza was fresh and clean tasting and the crust was thin and crispy. Probably one of the only pizza shops in the area that is closest to a NY slice. It took 20-30 mins but it was a Friday night so its was understandable. Overall, will be coming here again for my pizza cravings.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I was blown away by the setup (WOW WHAT A COOL OVEN) Pizza was fantastic! They even shredded fresh parmasen on the pie when hot out of the oven. My only issue was why did I wait so long to try. If you are in this area you too may pass it by and think it's just another pizza place......but No! Crust is crunchy and chewy.......sauce fabulous. Top notch place and ingredients! Will be back!
